Certainly not static, controlled, and sales-driven content.

CONVERSATION is now king (not my concept, mind you) and to the extent that organizations embrace this emerging trend (or nearly established trend) they will drive business results.

Audiences need to be engaged.  Content consumers are much more savvy these days - they demand access (often for free), and whether companies jump on board the content marketing train or not - consumers are going to change the landscape. 

It&#039;s already happening.  

Books are being self published. Printed newspapers are nearly obsolete. Soon travel agents and realtors will be a thing of the past since so  much content is now accessible and available for free for consumers to make up their own minds. Add to that the fact that video is driving most traffic online - and it&#039;s a whole new world!
