Dr. Robert Pepper’s Presentation from IIC in Montreal

Dr. Pepper (yes, it’s his real name) and I were on a panel together at the International Institute of Communications annual conference in Montreal. His presentation is very good, geeky, and loaded with lots of data about the performance of networks around the world. He was at the FCC for 19 years before moving to Cisco 4 years ago. A wealth of knowledge and a really approachable guy.

There is also a link to the Cisco site that has a lot of the raw data and some cool new widgets he was telling me about. As soon as I get the link from him I will post here.

He also discussed Cisco’s TelePresence technology for video conferencing. Fantastic. Here is a cheesy commercial about it. All the regulators and government bigwigs love it and rave about it. Prices from $16K to $300K FYI.
