In The Future…

Above is a very good video if you want to understand the impact the digital world may have on us and our children.

Karl Fisch, a technology teacher, at a high school in Colorado made a slide presentation to help the teachers understand the world the students will be entering. His presentation was picked up by Sony Music and used to help their teams understand what was ahead.

Karl’s blog is an excellent read for a perspective outside the ‘must generate revenue’ or ‘how do we monetize this’ media industry. Click this link for background information on the video.

I emailed Karl and asked if he had a high quality version of the video I could use for my presentation, “The Content Disruption And How To Profit From It”, and he immediately sent me back a link to download from. I now use it at the start of all my presentations to clients to help them ‘take the blinders off’.
